Choose DVD source

1. Load DVD folders

Click button to select the the folder where the DVD files are stored (mostly a folder named' "Video_TS")

After selectting the DVD folder, all the titles as well as the chapters on the DVD will be displayed in the source box. DVD to Apple TV will report the properties such as duration, trim length, esimated size, and destination file. As a default, the program everytime would preselect all the titles. Moreover, you can select the separate chapters you want to rip rather than the entire titles.

2. Load IFO files

Click button , the program can allow you to select the IFO files in the folders.

Show Chapters: Click to show all the chapters under the subdirectory of titles.

Check All: Select all the files shown in the main source box to convert.

Uncheck All: Deselect all the files shown in the main source box to convert.

3. Preview of the selected DVD

In the right area of the program screen you can see the preview the DVD in real time. On the bottom line of the preview box, there are 4 control keys, , as well as a slider bar to browse the video.

Trim DVD

1. Click button to set the start/end point of the DVD you want to convert.

2. Or, select the portion of the DVD by dragging the triangular slider under the preview box. Simultaneously, you can preview it . In the window to see if it is the right part you want.

Crop the DVD

To get the optimum view on your Apple TV, you can cut out the extra border of the scene to fit your screen. Please click button to resize the image screen and confirm it by OK. There are two methods provided:

1. Import the accurate value you want to set. Simultaneously, you can preview it in the right window.

2 .Or, crop the video screen by dragging theyellow border frame.

Output Settings

Click button to enter the Output Settings page.

Resolution: Choose the resolution to fit on your screen, ranged from 128X 96 to 480X368.

Frame Rate: As a defalut, the program would keep the original frame, unless you adjust it by yourself manually.

Ratio: Choose the aspect ratio of your output video files to fit your Apple TV screen, including 16:9/4:3/Keep Aspect Ratio/Full Screen.

Codec: Select the encoder you want to employ.

Bitrate: Bitrate means the amount of data being decoded per second, here are the available video bitrate in the Program for you to choose from: 256 kbps , 384 kbps , 512 kbps , 576 kbps , 640 kbps , 768 kbps , 900 kbps , 2500 kbps.

Speed: Select conversion speed or conversion image quality as the priority.

Audio Settings:

SampleRate: As a default, the program would set the given sampleRate as 22050HZ. Using 44KHz sampling can reduce audio distortion on high frequency level, however it consumes more audio bitrate.

Channel: Channels are set as 2channels. Also, you can set the channel to momo, which is usually for karaoke.

Bitrate: Bitrate means the amount of data being decoded per second, here are the available video bitrate in the Program for you to choose from 56 kbps to 128 kbps.

Codec: Select the encoder you want to employ.

In the main window, you can preset the output format as well.

File Title: Name your output files.

Subtitle: Allow you to turn off the target subtitle or not.

Audio: Check this option to convert your specified audio track on your DVD.

Format: It only outputs 3 GP format.

Save as: Save your output files to your specified directory.

Effect Settings

Video

Brightness: Increase the level to make video appear brighter on your Apple TV screen. The default is level 0 (No brightness change from the original video).

Contrast:  Adjust the contrast ratio to your output files.

Saluration: Adjust the saluration to your output files, making it vivid.

Audio

Audio Volume: You can change the output audio volume by dragging the slider. The default volume level is 100 (original volume).

Convert

Start button

After selected all the source you wanted, the DVD conversion will begin right away, by pressing the button.

After that, the progress bar would come up untill its completion.

Shut down computer when conversion completed is recommended. Auto shut down your PC after all the tasks finished; you needn’t stand by the computer until all the conversion finished.

Open folder when conversion completed is ticked as a default setting.
